The Boxer Rebellion, an anti-christian, anti-imperialist and anti-foreign uprising which took place in China from 1899-1901. The main focus will be on the Siege of the International Legations which is the main focus of my research.

The nations involved in this conflict include The Eight Nation Alliance (The United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, France, Germany, The United States, Italy and Austria-Hungary) as well as Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands and parts of southern China (Mutual Protection of Southeast China). They were fighting against The Qing Empire of China and the Boxers.
